Merry Christmas 圣诞节快乐

Sorry i didnt post this on Cmas day but my internet was down :( Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!!! I can't believe CHRISTMAS was a couple od days ago!!! On Christmas Eve, we had some of our foreign friends over. It was SUPER fun! We ate yummy food and sang carols! :) It truly felt like Christmas! :D Then, in the morning, we woke up at an un-earthly hour (8:00 am) to open presents! I got some wonderful things and I'm SO thankful for them! Here are some things i got:

- red and black Beats (they were the highest quality of fakes)

- a Tripod for my camera

-Toms (shoes)

- a stuffed Perry The Platypus

- Books!

That wasnt everything but that was some of my FAVS! ;)

In a few days some of our friends will come and visit, IM SO EXCITED! We havent seen them for about a year and a half. Also, We'll be going to Thailand in January...but that still has a few more weeks until that happens..

New Family Member..

你好！(hello!) Yesterday I bought my mom her Christmas present (from me), it was a "water plant" or atleast thats what i call it. Anyway, along with the plant, i bought 3 fish! I know what your thinking..the present was for my MOM. well, shouldnt we share? Besides, a water plant needs fish anyway so...ya.

The name of the fish are:

Skittles Mcflury (mine)

Orange-y (my little sister's, Mercee)

Rudolph (my little sister's, Grace)

The funniest part is my dog, JingJing, watches them. I think he is 1/2 cat! haha. Anyway, gotta go! Bye!!

Caroling..

Hello Folks! As you know, Christmas is coming soon, so we (The english teachers and my family) and some students went caroling yesterday at a plaza!! It was AMAZING and so much FUN!!! When we began to sing, people started to gather around and stare at us (us being foreigners and all.) After we finished singing, all the students wanted to take pictures with us. I must of had my picture taken 10+ times :D Also, a bunch of kids thought i was a teacher!!! Here is the convo:

"What school do you teach at, teacher?" the student asked

I replied, "I am not a teacher, i am only 13."

the student looked at me with confusion, "You teach at number 13 highschool?"

I reply with a smile, "No, I AM 13. 我十三岁！" ( I AM THIRTEEN)

Then they looked at me wide eyed and gasped! Then they said i am so tall!!!

It was hilarious!! :) I am so glad i went, even though it was coldddd ! :P

The Capital Adventure

As i promised, i would write a post as soon as i got back from the capital! Well, here i am, are you ready to hear about my day? Here it goes:

I was awoken by mom at who knows what time. We all rushed to get ready and finally got out the door and caught a taxi. My parents had been planning on getting on the 8:00 bus but we ended up getting on the 8:50 (oops?). Before the bus even got started, this man came on the bus, trying to give (i assume) his friend some money. Like every Asian, they didnt want it. So, for the next ten minutes they were yelling and the money was handed back and forth. Finally, the man gave the money to the woman and ran off the bus. Wait though, its not finished! The women proceeds to run after him and shoves the money in his hands and gets on the bus. The bus began to move, leaving the man with the money. After this little squabble, i found out the worst news that a person like me could find out. I had brought my camera, but the sd card wasnt inside. Great. Oh well. When the tragic news was told and sunk in, i fell asleep. It must of only been 10 minutes later when a lady behind me answered her phone and spoke REALLY loud, she was almost screaming. "WEI!?" (like hello.). Sigh, i fell asleep again, trying to ignore her. Before i tell you wht happened next, i should probably tell you some important info. On the bus, i was sitting beside my dad, so when i fell asleep, my head was on his shoulder. Now, on with the story. My mom thought this was cute so she wanted to take a pic. May i remember im fully asleep. Right before she takes the picture, i suddenly wake up and grab the camera, my picture wanst taken. It was the weirdest thing that i knew they were taking a pic. I gave up on sleep and began to read. You dont realize how bumpy the road is, until you start reading. I didnt read for long, it made me sick, besides we were almost there. When we were about 15 minutes away, we had to stop. Why? Because our bus clipped the side of a motorcycle. For ten minutes our driver and the man on the motorcycle argued, but then the bus driver handed the man some money then drove us away. Good way to bribe someone into silence...

The worst part of getting off the bus is finding a taxi. Everyone around you is babbling away, trying to persuade you to get into their car. You learn to ignore everyone because their prices are all too expensive because they see you as a RICH foreigner. After some help from a girl with PERFECT English (God's Angel?) we get in a taxi, off to the international school. Did i tell you we were suppose to go to the school at 12:30? well, when we arrived, we realized we were still WAY too early so we hopped in another taxi off to a mall with an McDonald's. Even though McDonald's isnt really my favorite food, after living here with only 3 KFCs, its truly a wonderful meal.

At 12:30 we visited the school, looked around, and talked to alot of people. It was 3 when we finished! So we went to another mall to shop at Wal-Mart and to eat SUBWAY. Now, you must be thinking, all we do is eat! In truth, its true. When we visit the capital we eat and shop, thats all. Around 5 we went to subway and met our friend, Watermelon. Together, we ate my favorite food, Subway. I had a 12 inch (take one half home for later..) with turkey, cheese, ALOT of pickles, Honey Mustard and Mayonnaise. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! :) Before we left Subway, we listened to a song in Subway. What song? Silent Night. What language? German. No idea why..

Off to the capital!

Tomorrow we're heading to the capital to check out the international school! We're gonna get to eat Subway and other American food :D I'm super happy, just pray that we wont get caught standing up on the train again!

Also, Christmas is coming! we already have our decorations out and are listening to Christmas music! :) I just absolutely LOVE this time of year!!! I'll post a longer post when we get back from the capital, till then, have a good day!!

P.S. Has it snowed where you are? Here is hasnt and I'm sad!! Right now it's only 48 degrees outside! :'( boohoo.

Thanksgiving!!!

Hey everyone, last night Thanksgiving was AMAZING! it was really good, especially the turkey (yum!)! Here's some pics!! It was one of the best Thanksgivings EVER!!!! :) So what are you thankful for? I'm Thankful for family, friends, Thanksgiving itself, internet, and God, the list COULD go on forever but these are truly special :)

Today, we skyped with my aunt and uncles, they asked me what i wanted for Christmas, my reply was, "For ya'll to come visit us!". Maybe you arent taking me serious but truth is, im dead serious. It's one of the things i want most of all. So please, come visit? I miss you guys so much and love you! All i want for Christmas is for you guys to come!

Well, im off to eat pumpkin pie for breakfast, post soon!!!

Lately, i've been chatting with friends, sleeping and...um....well...
yesterday we went to the arcade and got 945 tickets!!! :D that was fun. Ok,

Its Sunday!

Hey everyone! :) how's life for ya'll? Today we met with our foreign friends and then just basically hung out the rest of the day..I've been chatting with my friend Sarah :) Oh, and outside my window i saw a car crash into a motorcycle!!! THANK GOODNESS no one was really hurt! i was scared to death though! It was really scary *shivers* Good news though: IM ALMOST FINISHED WITH MY STORY!!! when i finish i will blog more! promise. So, do you guys know the song Dont Stop Believin' by Journey? If you dont know this song, better go listen to it!!! I love that song, its old but good!! hahaha. Hey all, my uncle complained that i wasnt posting enough so here i am!! The
reason i havent posted is because im in this writing competition and im putting
in ALOT of effort in to it, so wish me luck :) Also, for awhile there is nothing
to write about but I've thought of a couple of things! Tomorrow at 11/11/11 at
11:11 am i'll try to make a video...no promises though.. Some people call

Good News!!

This morning I was awoken by the ringing of my mom's phone. but the person had good news!!! Im going to be an aunt again soon!! :D Now my whole family is waiting until the phone rings again to tells us the little baby girl is born!! (Hopefully that will be soon) :D I'm excited!! :) whoop!

Another boring day ~

sup peeps! :) Today was an ordinary day, i did online school, ate a yummy lunch, and played on the computer! Also i was reading a friends book that she wrote (wanted me to have a look at it..)

Over all it was pretty boring, nothing exciting. :D well thats all I have for now, tomorrow is my little sisters birthday...

Hey! so this is just to add on from the post below..

"Hip hop class" didnt turn out too well.. :P I got really embarrassed because all these people were watching. So i ended up basically just standing there. lame, i know. Before we went to the class, we went shopping. I got a robot necklace, a star lantern thing and a couple of new movies. That part of the day was good :) Now i have to go to bed, just wanted to tell ya how the rest of the day went. Adios! Good Night ;)

"Stop licking my toes!!" :)

Today i should be doing my school work but i cant, its very boring. So I'm putting it off. I know i didn't sound like a good student but....

There was one thing that happened today that I should mention, i put peanut butter on my feat! I wasn't doing my homework, so for a "punishment" my mom put peanut butter on my feet and let my dog like it off. You may be thinking this was a cruel and unusual punishment, but it was so much fun. I laughed so hard, it tickled like crazy. :) My whole family watched me as my dog licked my toes and i laughed hysterically.

Later today I'm going to do a "hip hop class" at the gym with my friend, Dawn. I didn't want to do it but she talked me into it. I'll tell you later how that turned out.. Well, wish me luck! I'm off to attempt finishing my homework (I'll probably get distracted and go on FB) Later :)

The Train Ride

This adventure actually happened a few weeks ago, but just now i am writing it down.

We had gone to the capital for my birthday because i wanted to eat subway. It takes 2 hours to get there, but it was well worth it! The whole was wonderful, everyone was having fun and laughing. It wasn't until the way back till things started to get ugly. Before we got on the train, we saw people selling little fold up stools. We were confused on why they were doing this, why would people need stools at a time like this. We soon realized why. As we got on the train i had a sinking feeling, there is nowhere for us to sit. Just because we had bought tickets for a seat, did not mean a seat would be guaranteed. Some how we managed to find 2 empty seats, but we were quickly told that they were not ours. Not wanting to cause an argument, we got up in quest to find more seats. It soon became apparent that there were no where for us to sit, by this time my heart was pounding and i was frustrated. "how can we stand up for 2 and a 1/2 hours?" i wondered. Before i go further in my story i must remind you i was with my mom, my two little sisters and my good friend Dawn. I didn't know how my sisters and my mom, let a lone me, stand up for such a long period of time. Inside i wanted to go crazy but by some miracle i stayed calm. For one of the only times in my life I was the calm one while my mom was freaking out. By now we were standing in silence, leaning on a filthy wall, letting the train sway us back and forth. I kept telling myself i wasn't tired but after only 30 minutes, I wanted to sit. Being bored, i looked at my surroundings. There were people everywhere, all crowded around. It seemed that a cigarette was in the hand of every man on the train. Then i noticed the walls, climbing up was a cockroach, i wanted to scream but i merely said "Don't look behind you." Of course everyone looked then turned away wishing they had not seen it. Out of curiosity i asked my friend how long we had been on the train, she answered only 45 minutes. I began to realize mom was tearing up, trying not to let anyone notice. I knew she needed to sit, she would never make it. I turned to Dawn and whispered "We need to find somewhere for mom and the girls to sit." She nodded. She went off and 15 minutes later mom and my sisters were sitting on a bed. Little did we know, the train had been going for 30 hours. Dawn and i said goodbye to Mom and the girls then we proceeded to roam around the train until we got to our stop. as soon as we stepped of the slow, filthy beast, we screamed in delight. "WE ARE FREE!!" Dawn and I yelled together. I'm not sure how i had so much energy, let a lone patience, but I'm thankful. When i look back on it I smile, it was a great experience! Maybe not the best, but i can now write about it and share it with others.

This is a true story. It was a crazy night :P
